A professional portrait is not documentation. It is a statement — about who you are, how you lead, and what you stand for. Most people settle for a photo that merely looks like them. This session is designed to produce something more: an image that captures the version of you that others already sense but rarely see clearly. Before we shoot, we talk. I want to understand how you want to be perceived — on LinkedIn, in press, in the room before you've said a word. That conversation shapes everything: the light, the backdrop, the direction, the moment we decide to stop. In the studio, I guide you through the entire session. There's no posing from a script. Instead, I watch for the instants between poses — the moments when you stop performing and start being. Those are the ones that work. Three packages are available: The Simple ($475) — One hour, two looks, and 5–8 fully retouched images delivered in high resolution. The right choice for a focused portrait update. The Deluxe ($875) — Two hours, up to four looks, and 10 retouched images. A balanced session that gives you range without overextending the day. The Luxury ($1,550) — Three hours, unlimited wardrobe changes, 25 retouched images, and a $200 fine art print credit toward javialvarez.pixieset.com. For those who want the full experience and a physical artifact that lasts. After every session, you'll receive a private Pixieset gallery to review and select your images on your own time. Final files are delivered optimized for both digital platforms and print. Additional retouching is available at $55 per image across all packages. Brooklyn studio. Available May through June 7th.
