editorial portraits

Portraits that feel like a magazine feature built around you.

There is a difference between a portrait that shows what you look like and one that shows who you are. Editorial portraits do the latter. They are concept-driven images with the visual weight of a magazine feature.

This experience is built for people with a distinct creative dimension to their identity—artists, writers, performers, architects, public intellectuals, and founders with a strong aesthetic viewpoint. If you have ever looked at a profile in a major publication and thought, that is how I want to be seen, these sessions are designed for you.

We start with a conversation about your concept. We will isolate the feeling we want to create, look at your visual references, and decide what part of your identity needs to be visible. Next, I build the creative direction—tailoring the lighting, setting, wardrobe, and movement to that specific vision. During the shoot, we work through multiple looks and environments with active, continuous direction.
