A portrait session for the person you are now, not the one you were expected to be
At some point, the life you were living stopped being yours. Maybe it happened slowly, over years of accommodation and compromise. Maybe it arrived suddenly, in a single conversation that divided everything into before and after. Either way, you're on the other side of something significant, or standing right at the edge of it.

This session exists for that moment. I work with people leaving marriages, reclaiming identities, and stepping out of roles that fit someone else's life better than their own.

Before we shoot, we talk. Not just about outfits or references, but about where you are, what you want to carry forward, what you're finally ready to put down. That conversation shapes the session.

The session moves through two environments: the studio first, where we build presence and ease together, and then a location you choose — a neighborhood, a street, a place that already belongs to the life you are stepping into. We work unhurriedly, with no artificial or fixed shot list.
Many people describe the experience itself, separate from the photographs, as something they didn't expect to need. Something happens when you are fully seen that words don't quite reach.
